The beautiful Rococo palace was built in 1750-54 for Lord Chamberlain, Count A.G. Moltke. Today, the palace is used by HM the Queen as a guest residence and for official events such as the New Year's Reception and royal banquets. Experience the beautiful interiors, including the Great Hall, considered one of the most elegant Rococo rooms in Europe. Also, hear the story of the award-winning renovation of the palace carried out in 1993-96.
Times and prices
Guided tours of the Palace are conducted in July, August and September.
Times: Saturday and Sunday in English at 13:00 and 14:30, in Danish at 11:30.
Entrance fee: 75 DKK. Tickets are sold at the Amalienborg Museum in Christian VIII's Palace.
Special guided tours for groups
Groups of up to 25 persons may book guided tours all year round.
Price: 2,500 DKK, including guide.
