Opening of Frederik VIII's Palace to the public

Explore the future residence of the Crown Prince and Crown Princess and see the results of the recent renovation.

27 February – 8 August 2010

Opening hours:

Tuesday–Sunday: 10:00 – 17:00. Wednesday: 10:00 – 21:00.
Last admission 30 min. before closing time.

Admission:

DKK 40.00 (children 14 and under: free).
Tickets are sold at the entrance and by the ticket vendor Billetlugen.

Entrance:

From Amalienborg Slotsplads. Wheelchair users are able to access both floors.

Guided group tours:

Groups may book guided tours to be conducted outside of normal opening hours. Further details about the possibility of booking guided tours are available here.

Photography and filming is not allowed without a special permission. As a precaution and out of consideration for the fragile interiors and floors, large bags, baby strollers and umbrellas are not allowed in Frederik VIII's Palace. It is possible to deposit these objects during the visit.
