Parking

Only a limited number of parking places are available in the area around Christiansborg, e.g. in Slotsholmsgade and by Frederiksholms Kanal. Only employees of Christiansborg are allowed to park at the Riding Ground Complex and in the inner palace courtyard.

Parking spaces for the disabled are found at Christiansborg Palace Square (in the area between Christiansborg Palace Chapel and the main palace) and at Bertel Thorvaldsens Plads (at the entrance to the Thorvaldsens Museum).

The Royal Reception Rooms: Entrance from Prins Jørgens Gård or the inner palace courtyard (numbers 2 and 6 on the map of Christiansborg).

The Ruins: Entrance from the King's Gate beneath the tower (number 4 on the map of Christiansborg).

Christiansborg Palace Chapel: Entrance from Christiansborg Slotplads (number 14 on the map of Christiansborg).

The Parliament: Entrance from Rigsdagsgården (number 5 on the map of Christiansborg).

The Royal Stables and Carriages: Entrance from Christiansborg Ridebane (number 10 on the map of Christiansborg).

The Theatre Museum in the Court Theatre: Entrance from Christiansborg Ridebane (number 11 on the map of Christiansborg).

The Royal Library Gardens: Entrance e.g. from Rigsdagsgården (number 21 on the map of Christiansborg).
