Sorgenfri Palace and Palace Gardens
Since it was first built in 1706, Sorgenfri Palace in Lyngby has been rebuilt several times and the present Neoclassical palace dates from the end of the 1700s. For most of its history the palace has been a Royal residence and is now at the disposal of Her Majesty Queen Margrethe II.
Sorgenfri Palace Gardens, which surround the castle, are peaceful, wooded landscape gardens laid in the Anglo-romantic style.
